Just before the start of PWA Brouwersdam I got an exiting offer. I was asked to be a national teamrider for both Starboard and Severne Sails. Since I am surfing on those brands from the day I started freestyling, I am very happy with that. Also in the same period I found another sponsor, Urban Beach Nederland. They have nice clothes to wear on the beach.

Day 1 Registration! Got myself a place in the tent for the equipment and after I registered. The registration was between 1 pm and 2 pm. I was on the podium together with Heleen since we’re both Dutch and doing the PWA for the first time. The trials for the men were sailed because there were 3 people with only 2 places…Further we didn’t do anything else, although I had an awesome evening session with pretty much all the pro’s! …
